Removal of the Tiller shroud will be necessary to access the electronics, charger plug and key switch or to repair or replace the wiring loom.

Usual time allowance is 12 minutes  to remove and replace

          
Factory oil is Shell Omala synthetic gear oil. 400ml. Other quality gear oil is also suitable. Use Loctite master gasket or similar to seal cases. Always polish shafts where the seals run. Align cases using 2  5mm drill shanks. Pump generous amounts of lithium grease into the universal boots prior to sealing with cable ties.

Usual time to disassemble, clean, fit new shafts, bearings and seals as required will be 1 to 1.5 hours. Add .5hr to remove and replace Gearbox from the scooter

Without Factory tooling I have used a 1/2inch and 3/8 socket bar to secure the rim in a vice. Use plenty of soap to lubricate the tyre over the rim. The tyre comes off over the inside or back of the rim. Do not attempt to remove over the front or outside. Use the recess or cutout on the inside of the rim and the tyre easily comes off.
